Win7 hangs up with Itunes (Over version 10) + TuneUp Companion

Hello Everyone.

I have some music mislabelled and and I rather use Itunes as a main media player because of my Ipad and Ipod. In order to edit my music library I downloaded the TuneUp Companion for Itunes. Let me tell you that with older versions of Itunes it worked like a charm. After downloading the new Itunes version it all crashed down. My computer can take it and hangs up. I think Apple has made a great effort to keep Itunes up to date but this time the upgrade has laid down to many bugs. tuneUp Companion could not keep up with Itunes upgrades and then we all have a dead dinosaur in our desktop.

Hope Itunes and TuneUp companion can get together and solve all this issues.

Jeff Nichols, a University of North Carolina School of the Arts alumnus, directed this film.  Though I don’t know Jeff, many of my friends and colleagues are graduates of this wonderful program, and its always a good feeling seeing someone from one of the local film schools succeed.

Michael Shannon plays Curtis, a blue collar working man in Ohio with wife, Samantha (the ubiquitous Jessica Chastain) and daughter, Hannah (Tova Stewart).  He begins having strange and frightening dreams about a large storm that causes the people around him to become crazed and attack him.  Having a parent who was diagnosed as a paranoid schizophrenic at around the same age, he becomes concerned that he might be losing his mind as well.  To cope, he begins seeing a counselor, but his behavior and decisions grow worse with each dream occurrence, ultimately leading him to become obsessed with expanding a storm…

Caught somewhere in time

If you had the time to lose
An open mind and time to choose
Would you care to take a look
Or can you read me like a book

Time is always on my side
Time is always on my side

Can I tempt you, come with me
Be Devil may care fulfill your dream
If I said I’d take you there
Would you go, would you be scared

Time is always on my side
Time is always on my side

Don’t be afraid, you’re safe with me
Safe as any soul could be…Honestly
Just let yourself go

Caught somewhere in time
Caught somewhere in time
Caught somewhere in time…oh oh

Caught somewhere in time
Caught somewhere in time
Caught somewhere in time…oh oh

Like a wolf in sheep’s clothing
You try to hide your deepest sins
Of all the things that you’ve done wrong
And I know where you belong

Time is always on my side
Time is always on my side

Make you an offer you can’t refuse
You’ve only got your soul to lose
Eternally…Let yourself go!

Caught somewhere in time
Caught somewhere in time
Caught somewhere in time…oh oh

Caught somewhere in time
Caught somewhere in time
Caught now in two minds…oh oh

What would you do for your family? What would you do for love?

Can you fight the whole world? What does it mean to be a man? What does it take to defend your people?

I was searching for the definition of “Man” and found this Quote in Wikipedia: In English man (pl. men) lower case refers to an adult human male (the term boy is the usual term for a human male child or adolescent). Sometimes it is also used as an adjective to identify a set of male humans, regardless of age, as in phrases such as “men’s rights“.

Nowhere in the definition is mentioned what it take to be a man, is it just a physical (sexual) condition? a  behaviour? opposite to Woman? you can get caught in a loop here.

I am a Father, a Son and a husband. All I’ve done the last ten years is  fighting for nothing, I think all material things are nothing, we take none of our valuables with us when we die. We are not even something that last more than 80 – 90 or less decades. We spend the first third of our life getting ready to live and then spend the rest getting ready to avoid dying. What a nonsense!

Many authors have written about this, many books are sold around the world about life, death, happiness, sadness, love, hate, money, power and all the tail of the tape… but as soon as we have to face our own demons we become weak and powerless. We believe we are victims of fate or bad luck. We have to be Men / Women. As I learned the last few year, to Man up!

Hold tight to your boots, live fast and love your family, soon you won’t be remembered and someone else will be in your place.

The wait (killing Joke)

Motives changing, day to day
The fire increases, masks decay
I look at the river, white foam floats down
The body’s poisoned, gotta sit tight

The wait
The wait
The wait
The wait

After wakening, silence grows
The screams subside, distortion shows
Mutant thoughts, of bad mouthed news
It’s just another birth, of distorted views

The wait
The wait
The wait
The wait

The wait
The wait
The wait
The wait

Wots…uh the Deal?

Heaven sent the promised land
Looks alright from where I stand
Cause I’m the man on the outside looking in

Waiting on the first step
Show where the key is kept
Point me down the right line because it’s time

To let me in from the cold
Turn my lead into gold
Cause there’s chill wind blowing in my soul
And I think I’m growing old

Flash the readies
Wot’s…uh the deal?
Got to make to the next meal
Try to keep up with the turning of the wheel.

Mile after mile
Stone after stone
Turn to speak but you’re alone
Million mile from home you’re on your own

So let me in from the cold
Turn my lead into gold
Cause there’s chill wind blowing in my soul
And I think I’m growing old

Fire bright by candlelight
And her by my side
And if she prefers we will never stir again

Someone said the promised land
And I grabbed it with both hands
Now I’m the man on the inside looking out

Hear me shout “Come on in,
What’s the news and where you been?”
Cause there’s no wind left in my soul
And I’ve grown old
